Technology Partnering Opportunities
Arana Therapeutics® actively seeks partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies that want access to our validated technology platform for the engineering of safer, more potent therapeutics.Through the use of the company’s proprietary Superhumanisation™ and Synhumanisation™ technologies, Arana is able to deliver its partners a “humanised” version of their starting rodent antibody. Arana believes its technology is superior to conventional approaches due to its revolutionary approach to the structural matching of antibodies. The resulting products are less immunogenic, yet retain the crucial properties of the starting antibody.
Arana is also able to offer our partners access to our EvoGene™ platform for the generation and selection of superior drug candidates. Through an entirely proprietary methodology our partners’ drug can be transformed into a more potent form through the creation of billions of new variants of the starting drug. EvoGene™ can be applied to the test tube evolution of any protein product - providing novel products with greater activity, potency, specificity, stability and/or expression.
Our goal is to assist our partners in developing highly potent antibodies and other proteins for further development. One or more components of the technology platform may be accessed in flexible relationships which can involve a R&D program carried out by Arana’s Melbourne laboratories.
Arana will also consider out-licensing certain components of our technology platform where appropriate and also actively seeks to in-license and/or co-develop opportunities that would benefit from the application of our platform.
