Deal: 50:50 Co-development of ART104 with Kyowa Hakko Kirin and application of Kyowa's POTELLIGENT® and COMPLEGENT technologies to enhance effector function of this antibody. Commercial arrangement: Upfront, milestone and royalty payments to Arana. Kyowa have an option to commercialise ART104 in certain Asia territories.

June 2008
Deal: Co-development of up to 5 therapeutic antibody candidates with enhanced cancer cell-killing properties due to reduced fucose content.
Commercial agreement: Each party contributes its technology, intellectual property and other resources, and shares commercialisation proceeds.
