Intellectual property
Arana’s patent position reflects the new company’s focus on ensuring market exclusivity for lead therapeutic products in development. The company continues to pursue an aggressive policy of patenting discoveries and maximising patent coverage, with continual assessment of our own inventions and those of others in related areas that may impact on commercialisation of Arana’s products.
Arana’s current portfolio consists of 42 patent families with protection for its inventions being sought in major competitive markets including the US, Europe, Japan, Canada, Australia, China and India.
Arana scientists are aware of the importance of patents to the company and pay careful attention to the possibility of filing further applications as projects progress. |
